Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Control Theory LLC (“Control Theory,” “we,” “us”) collects through controltheory.tech, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@controltheory.tech.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form we collect your name, work email, company (optional) and anything you write in the message box. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and our advertising partner (Google) receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit and, if you arrived by clicking one of our ads, an identifier for that ad click. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to collect this information, as described below.
We do not use social media pixels, session recording or other analytics tools on this site.
How we use information
- To reply to your request and schedule and provide our services.
- To measure whether our ads lead to contact requests (conversion tracking).
- To show our ads to people who have visited our site (remarketing).
- To operate and secure the site, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and cookies
We advertise with Google Ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person’s past visits to our website and to measure how well those ads perform. Some state privacy laws may treat this kind of advertising as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising.
You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, our site tells Google not to use your visit for ad personalization or remarketing. Google may still measure, without personalization, whether an ad click led to a contact request.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Our services are offered in the United States. For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our site is set so that Google advertising and measurement cookies are not used. Google may still receive limited cookieless signals, such as that a page loaded. You can contact us at any time to exercise rights you may have under local law.
Who we share information with
- Google, for advertising measurement and remarketing (Google Ads), for loading the fonts on this site (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser downloads the fonts) and for hosting our email (Google Workspace).
- Web3Forms (operated by Web3Creative), which processes contact form submissions and emails them to us. We have set Web3Forms to delete stored submissions after 30 days.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and processes request logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.
- Professional advisers, authorities when required by law, or a successor business if Control Theory is ever merged or sold.
Third parties, including Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site.
How long we keep information
We keep contact requests and related emails for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide services and keep reasonable business records, then delete them. Information that Google and our other providers collect is kept under their own policies.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to tell you what personal information you have given us, or to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@controltheory.tech. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption on this site and access controls on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we will note it at the top of this page.
